Nommy App free
Many food businesses still struggle to build a proper online presence, and cost is one of the main reasons. We want to remove that barrier.
Nommy originally had three paid plans: Starter at $5/month, Pro at $10/month, and Premium at $20/month.
But after talking to hundreds of small and medium-sized food businesses, one thing became very clear: cost was still one of the biggest barriers to building and maintaining a proper online presence.
Margins are already thin, and the cost of website builders, menu tools, hosting, and other subscriptions can quickly add up on top of everything else it takes to run the business.
So we decided to rethink the model entirely. Instead of charging every business a recurring software subscription, we chose a different path—one that we think is better aligned with the reality food businesses face today.
That is why Nommy’s self-serve app is completely free to use. You can create a website, publish your menu, generate QR codes, add links, and keep your information up to date without paying a monthly subscription fee.
Instead, we make money when businesses want us to do more through optional managed services, upgrades, custom themes, and design work.

The real cost on our side is not the software itself. It is the time we spend helping businesses manage it.
Nommy is designed to be self-serve. When you build your own website, update your own menu, and manage your own content, the cost for us to keep providing the software is relatively low.
Most of the ongoing work is handled by the product itself: hosting your site, serving your pages, keeping your menu available, and giving you the tools to make changes whenever you need to.
So instead of charging everyone a subscription, we keep the self-serve product free and provide basic support to help you use it when you need a hand.
That lets us focus more of our time on the businesses that want hands-on help through Nommy Managed, custom themes, upgrades, and Nommy Studio.
In other words, businesses that are happy to do it themselves can use Nommy for free, while businesses that want us to spend time doing the work for them pay for that service.
It is a simpler model, and one we think is better aligned with how Nommy is actually used. At the end of the day, it creates a better balance for both sides.
