TL;DR
- Monthly Plans: Non-refundable. Cancel anytime to stop future billing; keep access until your current billing cycle ends.
- Annual Plans: Refundable for unused months (partial refund only).
- The Catch: If you cancel early, the months you did use are recalculated at the standard Monthly Rate (you lose the 20% annual discount).
- Access: You always keep access until the end of your current monthly billing cycle (e.g., if you signed up on the 12th, your access continues until the 12th of the next month).
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all Nommy subscriptions provided by Lootpop PLT. Our goal is to balance flexibility for you with fair pricing for all users.
Nommy offers monthly and annual subscription plans for access to the website builder, hosting, and related features. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
Refunds are only available under the specific conditions outlined below. We do not offer refunds outside these terms unless required by applicable law.
Monthly Subscriptions
No refunds are provided for monthly subscriptions.
Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. No partial-month refunds or credits are issued.
Example: If your billing cycle starts on January 12 and you cancel on January 20, you retain full access through February 12. No refund for the unused portion of January.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a partial refund based on the number of complete unused months remaining in the 12-month term.
Refund Eligibility Checklist
To qualify for a refund, all of the following must apply:
- You are on an Annual billing plan.
- You have at least one complete unused month remaining.
- You opt-in to the refund during the cancellation process (toggle enabled by default).
- Your recalculated usage (at the standard monthly rate) does not exceed the original amount paid.
How We Calculate Your Refund
We remove the 20% annual discount upon early cancellation. We charge the standard monthly rate for all months used (including the current billing cycle), then refund any remaining balance.
Formula:
Refund = Total Paid – (Months Used × Standard Monthly Rate)
- "Months Used" includes the full current cycle (even if only partially used).
- If the recalculated monthly cost exceeds what you paid, no refund is issued — you simply retain access for the full original term.
Refund Examples
Assumes a $48 Annual Starter Plan with a $5 standard monthly rate.
Early Exit (High Refund)
Scenario: Subscribe January 12, cancel January 13 (1 day later).
- Months Used: 1 (January 12 – February 12)
- Cost at Monthly Rate: $5.00
- Refund: $43.00 ($48 – $5)
- Access: Continues through February 12.
Mid-Year Exit (Partial Refund)
Scenario: Subscribe January 12, cancel August 20 (~7 months + 8 days).
- Months Used: 8 (current cycle counts fully)
- Cost at Monthly Rate: $40.00
- Refund: $8.00 ($48 – $40)
- Access: Continues through September 12.
Late-Year Exit (No Refund)
Scenario: Subscribe January 12, cancel November 20 (~10 months + 8 days).
- Months Used: 11
- Cost at Monthly Rate: $55.00
- Refund: $0.00 (monthly recalculation exceeds original payment)
- Access: Continues through January 12 (full year).
How to Request & Receive a Refund
Refunds are handled automatically through the dashboard:
- Go to Billing and start the cancellation process.
- Enable the "Refund unused months" option (on by default for eligible annual plans).
- Confirm cancellation.
Eligible refunds are processed to your original payment method via Stripe. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days (depending on your bank or card issuer). You will receive a confirmation email once processed.
We do not issue refunds for one-time fees, add-ons, or custom services unless separately stated.
Why This Policy Exists
We aim for fairness:
- You get flexibility if your needs change (especially on annual plans).
- The 20% annual discount rewards full-year commitment — early cancellation adjusts pricing to match what monthly subscribers pay.
This approach keeps our service sustainable while being transparent.
Exceptions and Governing Law
Refunds may be denied if your account violated our Terms of Service (e.g., fraud, abuse). We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of misuse.
